The Texas Diaper Bank (TXDB) is a San Antonio based nonprofit that works to provide diapers and other sanitary products to babies, disabled children, and seniors in need, especially in times of extreme need such as the recovery from Hurricane Harvey. They also provide educational parenting classes.
I provided an advertisement to go in a pamphlet for the Texas Cavaliers River Parade. I was provided their logo and colors, and mirror the branding used on their newly redesigned website. I also created a sponsorship packet, including information about who they serve, their achievements in 2017, and a tiered graphic explaining donation levels.
Finally, in order to send out the sponsorship packet, the logo for the “Every Baby Deserves a Change” campaign needed to be updated from the previous year’s which had been created with clipart. Using the old logo as a model, I made some initial sketches based off of the clipart and the icon set that is already part of the Diaper Bank’s branding. Over the course of several days, adding elements such as the pin from TXDB main logo, trying out different orientations and changing colors to the official TXDB color palette, a final design was reached.
